Thorough Examination of Arboricultural Equipment
The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 requires that all lifting equipment is subject to regular inspection by a competent person.
This qualification involves a written exam and practical inspection of a range of arboricultural rigging equipment. It aims to prove competence in recognising faults and the various loads and limits involved with arboricultural rigging equipment as well as knowledge of legislation and terminology.
