Forest Machine Operations

A range of practical assessments covering the various types of forest machines. Assessment is conducted and certificates are endorsed in the context of the type of machinery used.

The Five Base Machine Categories
1.1 Tracked rigid (eg Farmi-trak, CATD7)
1.2 Tracked slewing (eg JCP 814, JCB-based harvester)
1.3 Wheeled rigid – including agri-based (eg Ford County tractor)
1.4 4-6 wheeled articulated (eg Valmet 911, Kockums 84-35)
1.5 8-wheeled articulated (eg Timberjack 1110, Ponsse Cobra 1210)

Operators can ask to be assessed for a single base machine or for more than one. At least one base unit must be selected.
