Slug pelleting seminars (SPS)
Slug pellets are used extensively to control slugs in agricultural and horticultural crop production. One of the active ingredients is now being detected in the environment and a major campaign has begun to improve rapidly farmers and operators awareness of how to both reduce the impact of this pesticide and improve the efficacy of slug control. The Chemical Regulations Directorate (formerly PSD) has approved the Slug Pelleting Seminars as an interim measure to raise standards throughout the industry.
SPS Seminars are now being held - please contact our office for more information about officially approved SPS trainers.
